Couples Massage
Women's Massage Therapy
Massage is to work and act on the body with pressure. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain.
Reflexology and Foot Massage, although it's often combined with massage, is technically not a form of massage. It's a separate practice that applies pressure to reflex zones on your feet, hands or outer ears to affect your entire body.
Hot Stone Massage is a form of body work that involves the application of heated stones (thermo therapy) to the body within the context of a therapeutic massage . Round, smooth stones are heated to luxurious warmth, oiled and used in the palm of the hands to massage the body. Heat penetrates deeply, prompting profound relaxation, increased detoxification, and relief of long-standing muscular tension, stress and fatigue.

Couples massage is generally offered in a private room on side-by-side massag etables with two therapists who work on each individual at the same time.

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that has not hardened into bone and cartilage; it includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and ensheathes the other soft tissues). Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Chair Massage

Ever see someone getting a massage in the middle of the mall, airport, or even at work? You're seeing a chair massage , which is designed to provide a quick relief from tension and stress.

What is a chair massage?

The modern day chair massage became popular in California in the 1980s as a quick stress release for people on-the-go. As the name implies, this is a massage given while you sit in a special massage chair. Chair massages are performed fully-clothed, and can be effective in as few as 15 minutes.

This technique quickly gained popularity and today is regularly performed by therapists at health salons and spas. However, the chair massage has very old origins: old Japanese block prints have been found showing people being massaged as they sat on stools.
